andrew matlock – vice president salesAndrew Matlock has a work history spanning 25 years across telecommunications and technology sectors, much of it dedicated to building successful business teams and creating significant profitability and shareholder value. Andrew has worked as Regional Manager for Calcomp Inc, (a division of Lockheed Martin), VP Sales for Double Impact and co-founding successful start-up ventures in both the United States of America and in Australia. Andrew joined NewSat in 2007, becoming Vice President of Sales in June 2008. Through strong leadership, effective communications and genuine interpersonal skills Andrew has built a successful, process-driven and scalable global sales team to support NewSat’s future growth. Andrew holds a bachelor of Applied Science majoring in computer science and mathematics from Swinburne University, Australia. After a successful start as a computer programmer and analyst, Andrew then transitioned into sales and business management where he has created, developed and subsequently managed a number of divisional business units with full P&L accountability. |

Yael Shamos – Vice President Business DevelopmentYael Shamos has over 20 years experience in the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors and has held senior positions covering sales, marketing and strategic development. Prior to joining NewSat, Yael was the Vice President Sales & Marketing for Satlink Communications and has lived and worked in South America, North America, Australia and the Middle East. Yael has a proven track record in creating new business, driving sales, closing large, complex deals and multiplying revenue. Having implemented global transmission solutions for broadcast, governmental and data, Yael has a broad perspective, which proves invaluable when developing new business. |

Garry Sholl – Vice President Business DevelopmentGarry Sholl, has over 25 years experience in developing successful commercial relationships with technology and commercial organisations around the world. Through his leadership, business development expertise and experience in telecommunications, Garry has delivered bottom-line business success across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Australia. Prior to joining NewSat, Garry was the former CEO and founder of Sholl Communications (Aust), a successful Australian telecommunications company which he sold in 2007 after 21 years. Garry is a current member and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and has been instrumental in the recent growth of the Jabiru satellite business. |
