Jabiru-4
NewSat’s Jabiru-4 satellite will deliver high-powered Ka- and Ku-band coverage over the Pacific Ocean region. Jabiru-4’s 6 GHz of capacity will address increasing satellite demand from naval, maritime, government and carrier-grade telecommunications markets in these remote regions.
COVERAGE TO ADDRESS INCREASING DEMAND
Jabiru-4’s high-powered capacity will provide coverage from North East Asia and Australia, across the Pacific Ocean to the West Coast of the USA. Jabiru-4 will address the increasing demand for fixed and mobile high bandwidth satellite capacity, from naval, maritime, government and carrier-grade telecommunications markets, to aid the delivery of anywhere-anytime communications.
HIGH-INTENSITY KA-BAND SPOT BEAMS
Jabiru-4’s Ka-band payload will deliver high-powered capacity, through fixed and steerable high intensity spot beams. This will enable the use of small end-user antennas and extend capacity into high demand regions to support evolving customer requirements. Along with Ka-band’s ability to deliver higher bandwidths and speeds, Jabiru-4 will provide a more cost-effective solution when supporting large bandwidth applications and high growth markets.
HIGHLY TARGETED KU-BAND
Jabiru-4’s Ku-band payload will deliver highly targeted capacity over high demand regions to create “hot zones”, which will provide customers with efficient solutions to support end-user applications.
